The Silicon Valley Research Practice Partnership empowers young people, educators and administrators to be confident in their math and computational thinking skills.

The SJSU College of Science Center for STEM Education is a collaborative and interdisciplinary effort involving university, K-12 education, and community partners dedicated to increasing the capacity of educators to deliver effective instruction in STEM fields with a focus on computer science.

Lesson Plans Designed for Impact

Our educator-created lessons frame math , computational thinking, and computer science in ways that will resonate with young learners. Designed with those who identify as Latina in mind, these engaging lessons build math and computational thinking confidence and include Scratch computer programming activities

Our Work So Far

Since 2020, the SVRPP has brought researchers and educators together. Our shared belief in the ability of all students to excel powers our aspirations for the future of culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogies in math and computational thinking in all classrooms.
